Bayreuth, Germany

For a 'relaxed' Sunday afternoon we toured Bayreuth.  Isn't this fountain awesome? 

This is the opera house in town.  Eventually we wanted to see a live opera here but they are in the process of renovating it and haven't been showing and aren't showing operas for a couple of years.  Our kids were free (our kids are 9 and under) but for an adult it was 4,50 Euro's.

Check out the inside!  Isn't is amazing?!  Miles took this picture while I took the kids to find a bathroom. Seriously, if you ever want to know where the bathroom is in ANY city just ask us, we go at least 10 times in a 2-3 hour time period.  

The palace!  This place was HUGE and the grounds were HUGE!  I don't think we covered 1/3 of it on our 45 minute walk.  There were quite a few people there too just enjoying their Sunday afternoon.  We sat on one of the benches and ate some fruit and then headed home.
