An Hour in Kutná Hora, Czech Republic


If you ever want visit Prague and you looking for a quick side trip - our kids LOVED this one!  

THE SEDLEC BONE CHUCH

400 years ago some monks decided that there needed to be a reminder that the church was and is a community for the living as well as the dead.

The Municipal House, or "The People's House" on the right and on the left is the Powder Tower.  The Powder Tower was built in 1475 and got it's name because it was used to store ammunition during the 30 Years War, it also is one of 13 gates that served as entry ways to the city.

We didn't have a whole lot of time but we wanted to go anyway!  We drove to a park n ride, jumped on the subway and headed into the city center where this beauty was!  Amazing huh?!
