Helsinki, Finland
We basically did a tram tour throughout Helsinki.
This little statue/fountain is across the street from the Market Square. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to visit the Market because we were a little lost trying to catch the tram in the right direction.
Temppeliaukio Church
This is the "Church of the Rock" from 1969 built by Timo and Tuomo Suomalainen (who happen to be brothers). The top of the church is a 13 mile long coil of copper ribbon ceiling with skylights surrounding it.
Lutheran Cathedral
Built by Carl Ludvig Engel in 1852

The inside of the Lutheran Cathedral
This is the Three Blacksmiths Statue from 1932. Apparently there is no universal meaning behind these guys but most believe it is celebrates human labor and the solid character of the Finnish. Up close we could see the bullet damage from WWII.
Right before we caught the tram back to our cruise ship we happened upon this fudge station. We just had to get a little treat.
