HALLSTAT, Austria
The next day we headed out of Salzburg and up to Hallstat. We just wandered around the town and enjoyed the scenery. It was so picturesque. There was a huge crane in the middle

Next stop ... Mondsee
This is the little town has the famous church, where the wedding of Maria and Baron von Trapp takes place in the movie The Sound of Music.

I LOVE these hanging eggs, they are all over Europe. They are real eggs, hand painted and are only out during Easter. I went a little crazy getting eggs in Austria. FYI - they are much cheaper in Prague at their Easter Market.
