The Train system in Berlin was incredibly convenient and easy to use. The first day we took our stroller and it was such a hassle. The second day we packed light (I mean REALLY light) and we each used an Ergo Carrier for the 2 youngest. I highly recommend doing the whole carrier/backpack thing. The stroller was just too hard to move on and off the train, up and down the elevators, and weaving in and out of crowds.
The Reichstag Building at night. You are able to tour the dome and it is suppose to be amazing but you are suppose to make reservations on-line the day before and we didn't know that. Next time!
Humboldt University
Behind us is where the famous Nazi book burning took place - there is now a memorial
The Berlin Cathedral
One can pay extra to do the Dome walk and I highly recommend doing so. It gives and incredible view and it is totally worth it. It's great to expend some of the kids energy too.
The following pictures are the inside of the Cathedral and the view from on top of the Dome looking at the museums on Museum Island ... Next Time!
