Tallinn, Estonia in a few hours

Here is a look at our cruise ship since you always have to have one of these.

A little map of what we have on the agenda here in Tallinn, Estonia.

Here is the Town Wall and 1 out of 26 defence towers built in the 16th century.  In its day the walls were 3 meters thick, 16 meters high, and stretched around the city 4 km long.

St. Olaf's Church

The Holy Ghost Church with the oldest clock in Tallinn.

The next 4 pictures are inside the Holy Ghost Church

This is in the alley way walking away from the Holy Ghost Church headed toward the town square.  I loved this little man from Tallinn pushing his goods going along his route selling.

The Gothic Town Hall (Raekoja Plats) from the 15th century.

St. Nicholas Church and another part of the city wall

Alexander Nevski Cathedral built in 1894-1900 (part of the Russian influence) and yet another defense tower.

The View of Tallinn

The happenings in the town square

Another view of Tallinn from up top

Estonia is kind of known for their wool.  I really REALLY wanted to get one for each of my kids but after I looked at the price I was perfectly content just getting a lovely picture.
