Our first trip to Paris, France

Back in April 2012 I took my parents to Paris, France.  It was a great experience! It was seriously really fun to tour around together!  Even better was being able to see where my dad spent 2.5 years of his life teaching the French about our religion.  If you are interested in what he taught go HERE or HERE

The Eiffel Tower -

The tower admission is not included in the Paris Pass (which is awesome!).  So you just have to swallow your pride and pay to go to the top.  We went first thing in the morning and had to wait FOREVER to take the lift up to the top.  I would recommend standing in the shorter line which lets you climb half way up and then you take the lift to the top.  It would save you so much time!

First Stop in France -- Versailles

This place is seriously HUGE!!

There is an audio tour that is included in the entrance fee that we thought was great!

My dad remembers running around here on his off days, with no crowds, having no 'real' security, sitting on the fence to watch the water fountain show that they do at night during the summer.  Pretty great memories if you ask me.

More of Prague

The Municipal House, or "The People's House" on the right and on the left is the Powder Tower.  The Powder Tower was built in 1475 and got it's name because it was used to store ammunition during the 30 Years War, it also is one of 13 gates that served as entry ways to the city.

A Quick Stop in Potsdam before Berlin

Just outside of Berlin is Potsdam.  There is so much to see in this city, but unfortunately we didn't have much time to see it.  We were, however, able to squeeze in a tour of the palace.  It was well worth it!
